Evan Cheng knows the way, as the current head of character design in the Sesame Workshop,  he created these undead Muppets which understandably didnt quite catch on the states. But that’s why we have Japan, to take anything morose and perverse and turn it into cute plush dolls and jigsaw puzzles, as seen below:
